Why this restaurant is a miss for so many people is beyond me. We had stellar service, fantastic food, and good drinks. I honestly prefer this location to the one in Placentia, which is far closer to my house. I came specifically to try the molcajete, but the server said they ran out of the salsa. Since the tomatillo substitute would change the flavor, we declined and opted for the fajitas ($31.50), which were fabulous. The proteins were ample, tender, and fresh. For drinks, I tried the cadillac and watermelon margaritas. The cadillac ($19) was heavy on the orange liquor - not my jam. The watermelon margarita ($12.50) was light, carbonated, and subtly sweet. My husband loved his michelada. Although the interior space was intimate, there were plenty of tables and some bar seats available. A few TVs were showing the Dodger game. There is a bank adjacent to the restaurant with an available atm in the corridor. Save 4% on your bill by paying cash. The Wilshire parking structure is just steps away, so finding a spot was not an issue on a Saturday evening.

I've been coming to Farolito for years, I believe is overdue I give them the 5 star review they deserve. First of all, the food is delicious - the burrito mojado is such a staple in my family. Everyone loves it. I'd dare to say if not the best, one of the best of OC. The people working here are super nice and always happy to be there. The ambiance is great and perfect to enjoy a couple drinks on the weekend. HIGHLY encourage you to come here and become obsessed like I am.

Farolito of Fullerton is a small Mexican restaurant in downtown Fullerton. It may be a little hard to find because the entrance is located in an indoor hallway. Once you find it, you will find that this place is a true gem! This restaurant's interior is nothing fancy, has about 10-15 tables or so. However, it is the service and delicious food that had us coming back! The items I recommend getting are the enchiladas, tropical salad, tostada salad, and the Mexican pizzas! They also have food specials throughout the week! They also have a full bar with draft beers. Come check out this place if you're in the mood for Mexican food and drinks, you won't be disappointed!

Farolito of Fullerton is a small but busy family-owned restaurant in the heart of old Fullerton. I've previously been to this restaurant's other location in Anaheim, El Farolito Jr, and the menu items here seem similar to those at the other location. The Chips & Salsa had freshly fried tortillas. The chips had a slightly greasy glean, but the salsa had a nice spicy bite. (3/5) I started with a Cheese Quesadilla. A warm tortilla filled with melted cheese. So simple. So tasty. (5/5) Birria Tacos are always welcome, and the Glorias QuesoBirria Tacos fits the bill. The consomé made for a great dipping sauce. Messy, but good. It could make for a good soup, a bit on the heavy side, but a thought for the future. The rice and beans on the side were more on the average side. (4/5)

Farolito Fullerton is a hidden gem to us locals. But in these times, I think anybody could use a little extra business and they sure deserve it. The place is cute and clean. The staff is warm and friendly and they start you off with the best chips and salsa. Happy hour is three to six, five dollar margaritas, two dollar tacos. You have to check it out for yourself. I had the happy hour quesadilla with Carnitas and guacamole for 1195. I also had a Casamigos reposado margarita on the rocks with salt. I was not disappointed in this adorable downtown Fullerton spot. And I will definitely be back!

I didn't see the Yelp reviews before getting here and I'm honestly shocked. Came here on a Sunday afternoon, public parking garage in the back. Not too busy in the afternoon and got sat and helped immediately with chips and salsa. Sports on all the tvs and in view no matter where you're seated. Food came out quickly and even though i regret not getting the burrito my friend got. My plate was delicious. They didn't skimp out on providing plenty of shrimp. The steak was tender. Also they have a yelp exclusive for a free taco i took advantage of as well. Nice little surprise when i walked outside to see a farmers market to add to a great meal and walk off that dinner
